Common questions

How do I move the café?

Look at the system window bar beneath the scene, then pinch and drag to move it. Use the native visionOS window controls to place it comfortably near your workspace. The café appears in a volumetric window; it does not automatically detect or attach to a physical table.

How do I change its size or angle?

Open Settings, then Placement. Choose Tall, Grande, or Venti, or adjust Scene width between 30 and 50 cm. Use Orientation to rotate the scene and Reset orientation to return to its default angle.

Can I pause the scene or change how busy it is?

Use Pause in the bottom controls to pause the scene, and Resume to continue. Settings > Neighbors lets you choose Quiet, Everyday, or Lively visitor activity.

How do I change the lighting?

In Settings > Scene, follow local time or choose Afternoon or Evening manually.

How do sound controls work?

Settings > Sound has separate controls for Music, Ambience, Character voices, and Sound effects. Use Mute all sound for silence. Character voices are short expressive sounds, rather than spoken conversations.

How do I manage reminders?

Open Settings > Reminders to choose reminder preferences or turn them off. Notifications are optional and scheduled on your device. If permission is denied, open the Notifications section of visionOS system Settings and find WHY CAFÉ. Notifications respect your system settings and Focus.

Do I need an account? Are analytics required?

No account is required. Usage analytics are off by default. You can change Share usage analytics in Settings > About > Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What should I do if something looks wrong?

Try pausing and resuming the scene, or close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, email support with your app and visionOS versions and steps to reproduce it. You can find the app version in Settings > About.
